Some of you may have notice that the Intuos inking pen (KP-130, for ex.) cannot be purchased. Wacom is mute on this topic, no availability date is provided.
Since the release of the Intuos “Paper Edition”, it seems that Wacom is pushing its FineTip and Ballpoint pen styluses. The problem is that mouvement data of these pens can only be accessed throught the proprietary “Wacom Ink” SDK (no Wintab32 support, nor Windows Ink support), which requires a paid licence, on a per computer basis (about a hundred euros).
We will then search for, and test, other acquisition devices.
